| Christian Aid Week this year has again been most
successful, enabling us to send £2544 to Christian Aid. This
is rather less than last year’s fantastic total, but passes
the previous second best by nearly £250. Congratulations
and many thanks to everybody for your great efforts in giving money
and time.
Accounts with Charities Aid Foundation and similar organisations yielded quite a bit more money than previously; the idea seems to be spreading. Please encourage it, as this is a way of getting the tax man to contribute to charity. This applies even more to "Give as you Earn". Roger Mangnall, | |
