Village News - Christian Aid Results 2005

Once again I can thank everybody for an excellent effort. Though the
results were not quite up to our previous best in 2001, I know that some
of us, on hearing of the tsunami on Boxing Day, cleared out our charity
accounts instead of waiting till Christian Aid Week - otherwise the
figure would have been well above that of 2001.

Again, thanks to the organisers and collectors for giving their valuable
time, and to all the contributors for reaching deeply into their pockets
and purses.
