MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 7 AUGUST 2003

PRESENT: Cllr J Mangnall, Cllr H Painter, Cllr D Dorling, Cllr R Griffin, Cllr J Speare, Cllr P Smith, Cllr L Couper and Mrs J Brookman (Clerk).

1 - DECLARATION OF INTEREST:
There were no declarations of interest at this point.

2 - PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

NEW APPLICATIONS:

TP0236(1997)4 1 The Greenwoods, The Street, Pakenham
Crown lift by 6 metres and crown thin by up to 20% 3 lime trees protected by a Preservation Order.
The Parish Council objected to the crown lift by 6 metres.

SE/03/2692/P Queach Farm, Great Barton
Change of use of agricultural buildings to workshops/business use (Class B1).
There were no objections in principle but extreme concern was expressed regarding road traffic. It was suggested that a way forward to the proposals could be to have a limited time consent which would allow this to go ahead but if there are problems then it could be reviewed.

SE/03/2708/LB Watermill Farm and Pakenham Watermill, Mill Road, Pakenham.
Listed Building Application - Internal and external alterations associated with use of premises as dwelling and visitors' centre.
There were no objections to the alterations of the plans.

OUTCOME OF PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

SE/03/2368/P 5 Church Cottages, Pakenham
Erection of single storey extension to front and side.
GRANTED.

SE/03/2374/P Lanick, Thurston Road, Pakenham
(A) Erection of (i) single storey extensions to front, sides and rear (following demolition of garage) and (ii) detached single garage to front and (B) Alterations to vehicular access as amended by letter and plans received 30 July 2003 indicating revision to single garage.
GRANTED.
