Details of the St Edmundsbury 2025 Project: Roundtable Events from St Edmundsbury Borough Council. Whilst the short term vision for the Borough over the next 5-10 years has been established the Borough does not yet have an established long term vision for how the specific challenges facing the Borough over the next 20 years will be faced, hence the "St Edmundsbury 2025" project, the outcome of which will set a clear framework which will help influence future strategies and the way services are delivered. Initial meetings have taken place since April 2005 and now parish councils are invited to be represented at a more formal "roundtable" session during the summer. The aim of these sessions will be to achieve consensus on aspirations for the future of St Edmundsbury to 2025; agree key activities to achieve aspirations to 2025 and to agree opportunities for joint working. The session nearest to us will be Friday, 1 July 2005 in the Corn Exchange, Bury St Edmunds from 9am to 3 pm. 13.0 - DATE OF NEXT MEETING: The meeting was closed at 10.15 pm. |
