2.0 - PLANNING APPLICATIONS:
SE/05/01809 Brookfield, The Street, Pakenham. Applicant - Mr M Bartram. (i) Erection of single storey front extension and (ii) erection of front boundary wall. The Parish Council thought the blind gable end could be improved by inserting a window; and that the proposed wall to be incongruous in the conservation area of Pakenham and a flint wall of traditional style with no piers would be preferred.

SE/05/01839 Laundry Cottage, The Street, Pakenham. Applicant - Mr & Mrs Norton. Extension of existing garage to provide two bay cart lodge and store with pitched room over. No observations.

A letter had been received from St Mary's Church inviting the Parish Council to purchase a traditional style lamp standard to be erected at the car park end of the footpath leading to the church. The Parish Council approved the request in principal, clerk to write and confirm this decision.

Cllr Sargent declared an interest in the following item.

A request had been received from the Bowls Club to look into the forthcoming renewal of the lease due to expire on 30 October 2005. The Parish Council agreed that the Bowls Club should be offered at 10 year lease at a hire charge of £150.00 per annum with a break clause and rent review at 5 years.
