3 - Matters arising from the last meeting:-

Keyboard has been donated. No cost incurred.
Microphone
1 purchased.
Locksmith
Adjustments made to fire exit door
Health & Safety Testing
Meeting held between CS & RG. RG will report to committee via e-mail. Testing all up to date.

4 - Treasurer's Report May 11- July 11:-

5 - Booking Secretary's Report:-
All well. Barbara to work with JM regarding the possibility to taking over the role of Booking Secretary from 1st January 2012. Bookings will only be made through the Post Office. Regular hirers will be notified of the change.

6 - Fundraising Reports:-
Quiz Night- 8th October Wine Tasting Evening- 22nd October MK & CD reported on Flicks in the Sticks. MK & CD reported on costs & possibility of setting up something similar in Pakenham. MK to continue researching costs needed to run a test film.
Raffle:-
JC researched possibility of raffle. MK briefed committee on plans for June 3rd. Proposed raffle drawn on 3rd June.
Pakenham Open Gardens:-
RG requested someone to organise Open Gardens for 2012. CD offered to be involved but with additional help. RG to speak to some others re working with CD to organise event.
Horse Racing Night:-
Early 2012

7 - Correspondence:-
CS: Suffolk Info Link- Handed to RG to update the information.

8 - Repairs and Maintenance:-
a - The Village Hall
Air conditioning improvement: 2 quotes to repair & to make easily accessible. Committee agreed to accept cheaper quote.
b - The Pavilion
JB organised painting of pavilion
c - Play Area
All well. Tree to be planted. Thanks to CD for organising.

9 - Village Reports:-
Bowls Club- good season
Toddlers - all good. Sessions well attended
WI- All well

10 - Public Questions: None

11 - Any other Business:-
CD: Toddlers have new chairs. CD requested financial contribution to new tables. CD to submit request of amount after the toddler group's fund raising in November.
