If an officer is not on duty or unable to take a call you will be able to leave a message, but remember, it may not be actioned for some time if the officer is sick, on leave or temporary duty elsewhere.

It is most important that information about crime is passed on quickly to someone in the Police who can do something about it. Always, in the first instance, call the Police by one of the methods outlined below, and then, if appropriate tell your Neighbourhood Watch (NW) Coordinator what has happened so that other Watch Members may be warned about criminal activity in the Watch area.

· Or, if the attendance of a police officer at the scene is necessary immediately.
