Q - I like Pakenham as it is and don't want any changes - should I still complete the questionnaires?
A - Yes absolutely! By filling in the questionnaires you have the opportunity to say exactly that.
Q - There is a particular subject that has not been raised in the questionnaires. How do I record my interest / concern?
A - We have tried to cover all points raised at our Open Day. You are encouraged to use the last question in each questionnaire to add any further points, views and concerns.
Q - I haven't received a paper copy of the questionnaires?
A - The easiest way is to 'Do It Online Now!' but if you prefer not to then either download (top left of this page) and print the questionnaires you would like to complete or contact any member of the Steering Group or email parishplan@pakenham-village.co.uk.
Q - How will you use the gathered information?
A - All answers will remain anonymous. The completed questionnaires will be analysed and used in the production of the Pakenham Parish Plan.
Q - What's the point of a parish plan?
A - The Pakenham Parish Plan, when complete, will provide statistical evidence gathered from the whole community on critical topics such as housing, transportation, the environment, social and parish services and any other matters that you yourselves may have identified.
Q - Who will use the Pakenham Parish Plan?
A - Our Parish Plan will be critical not only for residents and village organisations but for all service providers to Pakenham including organisations such as local authorities, emergency services, social services, voluntary organisations and environment bodies.
Q - Will I be able to see a copy of the Pakenham Parish Plan?
A - Yes.
Q - In what format will the Pakenham Parish Plan be available?
A - There will be a number of printed copies plus a copy in pdf format available for download.
On 27th March 2010 the Pakenham Parish Plan Steering Group held an Open Day drop-in at the village hall where members of the parish were invited to give their views and ideas for the future of Pakenham.
A lot of thoughts were put forward whereby, for example, some members of the parish expressed a need for new housing to be built, some expressed concerns regarding parking and through-traffic, some wanted more facilities and activities, some felt Pakenham was simply great as it was and wanted no changes!, etc. etc.
The Pakenham Parish Plan Questionnaires have been prepared based on all input received and to give all members of the parish the opportunity to have their say.
If you live in the parish of Pakenham, please complete the General Questionnaire.
If you are 17 years or under, please complete the Young People's Questionnaire.
For all those running a business in the parish, whether you are self-employed operating from home, in agriculture/farming, operating from commercial offices or industrial units, views from all businesses are important to the parish, please complete the Business Questionnaire.
All questionnaires are anonymous.

The record kept of your questionnaire responses does not contain any identifying information about you. If you have responded to a questionnaire that used an identifying token to allow you to access the questionnaire, you can rest assured that the identifying token is not kept with your responses. It is managed in a separate database and will only be updated to indicate that you have (or haven't) completed the questionnaire. There is no way of matching identification tokens with questionnaire responses in these questionnaires.
