JULY 28th 2018 – FLOWER AND PRODUCE SHOW CREAM TEAS
The event was so well supported by the village we raised £102.00 for our institute funds. It was a real pleasure to support Karen and Gill for this auspicious village social event. Many congratulations to them on a great show and a huge thanks to my team for their delicious baking and fabulous help on the day.

AUGUST 9TH 2018 – THE WORK OF AN AIR AMBULANCE PILOT
A totally brilliant speaker and topic for our August meeting. Captain Matt Sandbach from the East Anglian Air Ambulance spoke for over an hour on the amazing work and vital role of the locally based organisation. His presentation was superbly illustrated and we were all captivated by his dedication and love of his chosen career. The tea team served a delicious and much needed range of refreshments at 10pm. Thank you everyone for a remarkable evening.

AUGUST 14TH 2018 – THE SUMMER OUTING TO THE NORFOLK BROADS
A full coach departed Pakenham on a bright sunny morning to savour the delights of Wroxham in peak holiday season. After lunch at Wroxham Barns and a tour of Roy’s town emporiums, we boarded our broad-going craft for a relaxing and interesting afternoon's cruising. The water ways were extremely busy with holiday makers, sailors, fishermen and a huge array of water birds at every twist and turn. It was great fun and we all returned home to dream of our future holiday home plans with a luxury yacht. parked in the grounds. I wish.!!!! Thanks to everyone especially Tracy for making the day so special.
