Coloured copies of the plans attached to the noise survey had been received and councillors again considered the proposals. It was agreed to send the following comments to the Planning Dept.
'We understand from residents who attended our last meeting that the survey of residents does not truly represent the views of those surveyed. They consider that they were asked leading questions. We feel, therefore, that the noise survey is probably misleading and we would like the Borough Council to undertake at least a partial survey themselves to assess the noise levels in the area, when training is taking place on the site. We feel unable to make an informed decision without information that we feel we can rely upon, as several of the residents questioned suggest that the information is not factually correct. We do feel that industry sited in a residential area should not cause problems for local residents.
If you do consider granting consent we would strongly urge that no work takes place during weekends and only between the hours of 9.00 -1800 Monday - Friday. Do you know if there is any intention of using floodlighting during the wintertime?'

Application granted
SE/07/1116 - Newe House.  Retention of timber platform & associated steps in front garden.
