PAKENHAM PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of an extra ordinary Meeting of the Council
held on Friday, 17 December 2021 at 2pm
Pakenham Village Hall

Present: Cllr Dorling, Cllr Davey, Cllr Palfrey, Cllr Sargent and Cllr Sidebotham No members of the public were in attendance. Mrs S Brown (clerk) took the minutes.

1 - Record Councillors' apologies for absence:-
Apologies received and accepted from Cllr. Painter

2 - Declarations of interest: None received

3 - Public Forum: No members of the public in attendance.

4 - To consider the approval of the minutes of the last meetings:-
The minutes of the meeting held on 17 November 2021 were approved to be signed as a true record.

5 - To consider request from Ixworth Parish Council to use post for VAS:-
Council discussed the request Cllr Sargent proposed Ixworth Parish Council may use the post on Bury Road as long as any necessary insurance is in place seconded by Cllr Davey all in agreement. The Clerk to inform the Clerk of Ixworth Parish Council.

6 - Planning Applications to comment:-
DC/21/2252/FUL : Little Dene, Grimstone End
Retention of first floor & part of ground floor of outbuilding for holiday let (Class C1).
Council discussed Cllr Davey proposed no objection seconded by Cllr Dorling to include the comment: could the owner mark the name of the house on the outbuilding, all in agreement no objection.

Appeal Ref: AP/21/0054/STAND (application DC/20/1028/FUL) Offices James Reinman Ltd, The Broadway.
3no dwellings (following demolition of existing work sheds) & associated works (previous application DC/19/0514/FUL).
Council discussed and all in agreement no further comments to make.

7 - To consider any payments to be made: All in agreement for the invoice below to be paid.

1718 M&TJs grass cutting inv:14425 £204.00

8 - Councillors' reports and items for future agenda:-
Cllr Dorling advised there was a large pothole on the drive to the Lawn Cemetery, Cllr Dorling to get a quote from Nunn's to carry out the work as soon as possible, to place on next agenda, also part of the hedge next to the drive had not been fully cut, Cllr Dorling had advised M&TJ's who will rectify it.
To place lorry movements on the next agenda.

9 - Date of next meeting:-
The date of the next scheduled meeting was confirmed as Wednesday, 19 January 2022.

There being no further business the meeting was closed at 2.25pm
