Pakenham Parish Council : Minutes 26th October 2022

PAKENHAM PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of the meeting held on Wednesday, 26th October 2022 at 6pm
Pakenham Village Hall

Present: Cllr Painter, Cllr Dorling, Cllr Davey, Cllr Sargent, Cllr Sidebotham and Cllr Palfrey
No Members of the public were in attendance.
Cllr Painter took the minutes - Cllr Dorling chaired the meeting.

1 - Record Councillors' apologies for absence: No apologies received

2 - Declarations of interest:-
Declaration of interest received from Cllr Painter in regards item 5.

3 - Public Forum: No members of the public in attendance.

4 - To consider the approval of the minutes of the last meetings:-
The minutes of the meeting held on 19 October 2022 to be considered at the next meeting.

5 - Planning application for comment (Cllr Painter did not take part in the vote):-
DC/22/1738/HH : 7 Manor Garth
a. replacement front dormer
b. roof light to side extension
c. single storey rear extension
d. replacement pitched roof to rear dormer.
Council discussed Cllr Dorling proposed object with the comments: the front dormer is disproportionately large, at the back we are concerned at the over looking by the new dormer. Seconded by Cllr Sidebotham proposal carried, majority decision, Cllr Davey abstained.

6 - Councillors' reports and items for future agenda:-
Cllr Dorling confirmed the overhanging hedge at the allotments is not owned by the Parish Council, to be discussed at the next meeting. Cllr Painter to place an article of thanks in the next village Newsletter in regards the Blessing of the New Memorial Post at the Lawn Cemetery.

7 - Date of next meeting:-
The date of the next scheduled meeting was confirmed as Wednesday, 30th November at 7.30pm in the Village Hall..

There being no further business the meeting was closed at 6.30pm
