JANUARY 20TH 2022 – Ladies Who Lunch
January’s lunch was at The Pakenham Fox. 12 girls enjoyed a fabulous meal and great service by Ross and his team. Very many thanks. I can highly recommend the sea bream on roasted vegetables absolutely yummy.!!!!!

FEBRUARY 10TH 2022 - My Life in TV Comedy
Charles Garland made a popular return visit to tell more of his hilarious stories of his BBC comedy exploits. He talked about getting the formula right in order for the magic of comedy to work, the main key ‘Funny Bones’ being naturally funny without saying a word, eg Tommy Cooper. We all know this worked with series like Dads Army and Allo Allo.
Members were delighted to celebrate Marion’s big birthday with a cake and cards.
Sadly I missed the meeting, so am hugely grateful to Pat and the team for making it so successful.

FEBRAURY 17TH 2022 – LADIES WHO LUNCH
This month’s lunch is at The Bunbury Arms, where we look forward to meeting the new proprietors and tasting their cuisine.

MARCH 10TH 2022 – TEA TIME IN TEXAS
I am delighted to be telling the story of how 9 intrepid British Girls (namely US) who packed their suitcases and transported their skills, equipment and British food across the Atlantic to serve a superb tea to the residents of Fort Worth, Texas.

Maria Broadbent owner of Casa the Bury St Edmunds Mediterranean restaurant is our very special replacement guest for the evening, to encourage us all to cook at home from scratch with easy economical recipes.
