Our wonderful village of Pakenham is situated in the county of Suffolk, UK. We are fortunate to have a beautiful church (St. Mary's), a watermill and a windmill, a new village hall and Post Office/shop, a village pub, a fantastic community and all situated in lovely countryside yet close to Bury St. Edmunds with the A14 giving us easy access to the rest of the country. For those interested in the history of Pakenham, a 'must read' is 'Pakenham - Village of Two Mills', a book written by N.R. Whitwell which was published in 1984 and is also included here in our history section. Please explore the various pages and sections from
the links on the left of the page. We are pleased to receive
your suggestions, contributions and comments which should be sent to:- |
