Nov 8th 2012 - Annual General Meeting
Our annual full business evening. Tradition upheld, we started the evening with the singing of Jerusalem. We welcomed Jill Newell who is one of the Federation Trustees who kindly agreed to be our teller for the vote counting process.
Thanks were given to Julie Jones and Ros Griffin who were stepping down from committee and welcome was expressed to Jean George, Doreen Head and Mary Kirby who were joining the committee.
Reports and Addresses were given and votes cast and counted. I am most grateful to have been re-elected as President for the next six months. For administration purposes our year end date is changing from September to April so our next AGM will be May 2013 when we’ll do it all again, and so get us into a new annual cycle.

Nov 17th 2012 - Shopping in Norwich
We went, we saw, we shopped. GREAT!!!

Dec. 13th 2012 -Our Christmas Meal
We’ll all get together to celebrate that Christmas is coming. Good food guaranteed from Andrea Davey and her team. Fun, entertainment and a cracker to pull. All washed down with a glass or two of Christmas cheer.

Jan 10th 2013
Our New Year begins by fulfilling one of our resolutions – to continue to have speakers a little out of the ordinary and not usually found on the speaker circuit.
We begin with Celia Stevens. She will take us behind the scenes, or maybe that should read ‘takes us into the pits’, when she reveals what life is like as a female racing driver. Whatever next!!

Subs will be due this month, but faithful W.I. members, I’m sure, all agree that its money well spent.

Ladies - You are welcome to come to any of the meetings to see what our W.I. is all about. There is no charge, most definitely it’s ‘try before you buy’ Details of our meetings are to be found on the village hall notice board.
