Pakenham WI News - May 2013

Pakenham WI

8th May 2013 - Jersey Nights
A group of members went to Norwich to see this foot tapping show and a great time was had by all.

9th May 2013 - Resolution meeting and AGM
Mr Mark Cordell joined us to discuss the changing face of retail shopping and what initiatives the Bid4Bury team are pursuing to ensure the survival of the heart of our lovely town. In the AGM section of the evening we elected Mrs Mary Kirby as President for this coming twelve months along with the re-elected committee. I have decided to take a year out, after ten years of being Treasurer then President, both very busy roles. Thank you to all who have supported me and for the kind words and my 'retirement' gifts. Retirement? What's that!!
