OCTOBER 5TH 2013 - RACE NIGHT
It was a really fun evening, enjoyed by all who attended. The company was excellent, the fish and chip supper was superb (our sincere thanks to Nigel at Ixworth), the master of ceremonies Peter was great and the organising team did a fantastic job. The event raised £258.66, £200 of which we were delighted to donate to The West Suffolk Hospital 'Beat it Appeal'.

OCTOBER 10TH 2013 - FLORAL IDEAS FOR CHRISTMAS
Julia Eeles and Liz Ferguson joined us for the evening to demonstrate 6 simple ideas for making the most of greenery, roses and glittery accessories for Christmas floral decorations. The versatility of adapting table decorations to hanging swags was so informative. I suspect the homes of Pakenham WI members will be quite spectacular for the festive season. We shall take pictures of all our efforts and enter them for a competition in January, may the best girl win. !!!! My sincere thanks to the refreshment team Julie, Val Barbara and Linda for a spectacular and colourful range of eats.
