It was fabulous, amazing scenery, beautiful weather, the most scrumptious afternoon tea ever and the very best of company. The quote of the day was ‘ that was awesome when can we do it again ’

July 9th 2014 – RIVER COTTAGE SUMMER COFFEE MORNING
Due to a very dodgy weather morning attendance was very limited. Not to worry, thanks to the support we reached the required proceed target was achieved and a good time was had by all.

July 10th 2014 – ALICE’S VOLUNTEER PROJECT TO SOUTHERN AFRICA
Alice and her friend Rose joined us for the evening to talk on their forthcoming volunteer scouting project to Africa. This is an amazing adventure for the girls who are part of a 40 strong team of young people travelling thousands of miles, and funding themselves to help other young people. We were full of admiration and will eagerly anticipate the girls returning to our WI next year to tell the full story. The tea and refreshments were provided by Janet, Teresa and the team, thank you girls the cakes were delicious.
