June 20th 2015 - Fun Day Teas
Pakenham WI were delighted to contribute £155.51 the proceeds of afternoon teas to this great village fund raising event. Congratulations to Julie, Richard and the team for a fantastic event.

July 9th 2015 – My Fund Raising Career
WI 20150709The delightful and inspiring WSH fundraiser joined us for the evening to tell the story of his fundraising and journalistic career.  20150709Dave was an inspiration to us all, proving that with or without a university educationone can have a splendid rewarding career, even if one’s original life time dream was to be a footballer !!!
Tracy Martin gave us an en lightning report on her visit to the National WI AGM in the presence of her Majesty The Queen, thank you Tracy for being our delegate. Tea was served and provided by Diane and Francis, thank you ladies.

July 10th 2015 – Seal Watching Trip
What an amazing day was had by all it was absolutely superb. Shopping and coffee in Holt, followed by the experience of watching seals out in the North Sea.
Followed by lunch and an ice cream in Blakney, the a glass making demonstration in Fakenham. The latter was also an experience, but the heat of the day and the furnaces forced many of us to give up and go outside for air. Thank you to everyone, especially Tracy Martin who organised the outing. It was a great day, its not where you go, but who you go with, that makes it extra special and great fun.

July 25th 2015 – Flower and Produce Show Cream Teas
We shall be serving our well known cream teas at this village event all proceeds in memory of Margaret Harbury.

August 13th 2015 – The Story of The Cambridge Refugee Committee and The Kinder Train
Mike Levy from the Cambridge Keystage Co joins us for the evening to tell the amazing story of rescue and re homing of the children of Nazi Europe. Guest will be most welcome to hear this unique story. Lord Winterton the gentleman  who initiated this war time rescue died last week.

26TH SEPTEMBER 2015 – VISIT TO BLETCHLEY PARK
Our next big excursion to the famous Bletchley Park is open to all. Many of us are taking our husbands along. Anyone who would like to go on this day trip, please contact me on 01359 233435 for more details.
