23RD MARCH 2019 - THE CHURCH SPRING JUMBLE SALE
Many thanks to all our members who baked cakes and served refreshments at this year’s sale. Great job girls we were able to donate £86.00 for the cause.

27th MARCH 2019 - LADIES WHO LUNCH
The first WI Ladies who lunch was great success. West Suffolk College provided an ideal setting for this new venture in a highly relaxed atmosphere. The food and service were superb. A really great idea, thank you to all for your support and company.

11TH APRIL 2019 - THE BLOOD RUNNERS
After a last minute change of speakers, I have to admit I was a little apprehensive on how the evening would work. I need not have worried, it was superbly delivered by Clive and his team. They roared up in spectacular fashion in the latest high powered emergency transport bedecked in luminous jackets with blood emblazoned on the back. Wonderful engaging speakers so very passionate about their role in the organisation. The charity is solely funded by public donations and transports blood and other lifesaving commodities including breast milk the length and breadth of the UK, often working in relays throughout the night. We were truly inspired by them and their work we hope to help by collecting village wide the phones and cuddly toys they need to make funds. The tea girls Andi and Val provided them and us with much needed refreshments including a cake with candles for our very special birthday girl Tracy. Another great meeting.

Part two of this meeting is to elect a committee and president for a new term of office.
