Happy New Year

DECEMBER 15TH 2022 - CHRISTMAS LADIES WHO LUNCH
A huge thank you to The Pakenham Fox for a fabulous Christmas meal. Great food, excellent service and wonderful friendly ambience.

JANUARY 12TH 2023 - ANNUAL QUIZ NIGHT/SOCIAL EVENING
Thank you to everyone for an excellent evening, a wonderful way to start a new year.  Great company, delicious nibbles and good wine, what more could a girl want. The answer was a high powered quiz delivered by yours truly. I was totally exhausted after an hour and a half of asking questions etc. I have enormous admiration for our normal question master John Speare, not only for his excellent delivery but for compiling his brilliant quizzes. The quiz was won by The Pakenham Prancers who were presented with an Easter Egg each, well done. !!!!

JANUARY 19TH 2023 – LADIES WHO LUNCH
This months lunch is at the newly refurbished Victoria pub at Thurston. We look forward to sampling their cuisine.

FEBRUARY 9TH 2023 – HEDGEHOG RESCUE
We welcome local lady Lynda Brignall as our guest speaker to talk about her work with injured and sick hedgehogs and we hope to meet some of her patients. We also look forward to having the opportunity of purchasing her recently published children’s book A Year In The Life of a Hedgehog.

FORTHCOMING EVENTS

25TH MARCH 2023 – JUMBLE SALE
This long awaited event cancelled due to Covid is at long last back. We hope to do a house to house collection on the 24th and we will be accepting donations on the morning of the sale at Pakenham Village Hall.

 

A visit to Burghley House at Stamford plus a retail shopping experience to Boundary Mill (a huge designer discount shopping centre at Grantham) is in the planning for April.
