Pakenham WI News - November 2023

Our WI committee were invited to visit St Nicholas Hospice where we were shown around and learned about the Hospice.  Total amount raised from our Coffee Morning: £1095.50.

9th November 2023 - Blood Sweat & Fears
At this month’s meeting we welcomed Mary Newton, an eminent Forensic Scientist for 40 years and her fascinating talk, Blood, Sweat (wearing protective clothing) and Fears (what you might find). 
We learned: never make assumptions, a lot of cases are never solved and you must be a team player.  Brilliant speaker who we shall definitely invite back.
