Pakenham WI News - May 2024

The AGM, that time in a WI year. We updated members about Monthly meetings, our visit to Sandringham Flower Show in July and gave Birthday posies.  There was discussion and voting on the Resolution, Secretary and President’s reports were given and a ballot was held for President.  Thrilled to say I am standing as President for another year with the same brilliant committee.

Planned events for 2024:
JULY 2024
Thursday 13th July – George Chilvers from St Nicholas Hospice is coming to talk to us about the work of the Hospice and its important role within our local community.
Wednesday 31st July – Trip to Sandringham Flower Show.

SATURDAY 28th SEPTEMBER – coffee morning in aid of St Nicholas Hospice.

We also have our ‘Ladies who Lunch’ once a month.
Do come and join us.  We meet every 2nd Thursday of the month in Pakenham Village Hall.  Doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.  After the talk, we have refreshments and have time to chat with other members.
