DECLARATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICE:-
The Chairman signed the declaration
of acceptance of office.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS:-
Councillor Painter proposed that the officers
remain as at present constituted. Councillor Chester seconded this
proposal and it was unanimously agreed.
RE-APPOINTMENT OF CLERK:-
It was confirmed that the Clerk be re-appointed.
MINUTES:-
The minutes of the meeting held on 17th April 2000 were
signed as a true record.
MATTERS ARISING:-
i) Parking in the Street. A reply had been received from Mr. Nunn stating that he did not think that the situation warranted a formal parking restriction. The budget for providing waiting restrictions was limited and only the very worst sites received attention.
ii) Employment of street cleaner. Councillor Painter undertook to ascertain the current regulations governing employment.
iii) Web sites. Councillor Smith said he had been in contact with the NALC information officer and Suffolk County Council provide web facilities for any village that wishes to use them.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS:-
It was brought to the attention of the
parish council that there were potholes in Queach Road and Mill Road
that needed repair. The Clerk was asked to write to Mr. Nunn
and inform him of the situation.
