PAKENHAM PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of the meeting held on Thursday, 17th December, 2015 at 7.30pm
Pakenham Village Hall

Present: Cllr Painter (Chairman), Cllr Dorling, Cllr Brookman and Cllr Palfrey 
One Member of the public in attendance 
Mrs S Brown (clerk) took the minutes
 
1. Apologies for absence: Apologies received and accepted from Cllr Davey
 
2. Declarations of interest: No declarations of interest received.
 
3. Public Forum: No member of the public wished to speak
 
4. To consider the approval of the minutes of the previous meeting:-
The minutes of the meeting held on 25th November were approved and signed as a true record
 
5. Planning:-
DC/15/2434/HH – 15 Manor Garth
Detached single garage to the side of property
Council discussed Cllr Dorling proposed no objection seconded by Cllr Brookman all in agreement

Applications determined by Planning Authority: None received
 
6. Finance:-
A cheque for £200 had been received and banked from Pakenham Charities this had been sent in error and should have been made out and sent to Pakenham PCC. A cheque therefore was raised no:1465 for £200 made payable to Pakenham PCC
 
7. Councillors’ reports and items for future agenda:-
The clerk had received a telephone call and subsequent email from the solicitor acting in the sale of The Fox public house. Contracts are to be exchanged imminently and they require confirmation the Parish Council consent to the transfer and if possible agree to the release of the restriction. Council discussed and were happy to confirm this to the solicitor.
Cllr Palfrey reported on his attendance at the village hall meeting they now have a new Secretary.
Cllr Dorling had spoken to Mr Thrower advising him to go ahead installing the concrete bollards at the edge of the cemetery meadow and the stump grinding for £250 and will undertake this in the New Year.
Cllr Brookman gave his provisional apologies for the next meeting.
 
8. Date of next meeting:-
The next scheduled meeting on Wednesday, 27th January 2016 was confirmed. 
 
There being no further business the meeting closed at 7.45pm
