PAKENHAM PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of a Virtual Extra Ordinary Meeting of the Council
held on Wednesday, 16th December 2020 at 7.30pm

Present: Cllr Painter, Cllr Dorling, Cllr Bagnell, Cllr Davey, Cllr Palfrey and Cllr Sidebotham
No Members of the public were in attendance. Mrs S Brown (clerk) took the minutes.

1 - Record Councillors' apologies for absence: Cllr Sargent

2 - Declarations of interest: Cllr Painter, Cllr Dorling and Cllr Bagnell in respect of item 5i.

3 - Public Forum: No members of the public in attendance.

4 - To consider the approval of the minutes of the last meetings:-
The minutes of the meeting held on 25th November 2020 were approved to be signed as a true record.

5 - Planning Applications to comment:-
i. DC/20/2030/FUL : Rivendell, Grimstone End
a. Removal of timber door and insertion of window at ground floor level
b. Change of use of first floor to holiday let (C3):
Council discussed Cllr Palfrey proposed objection seconded by Cllr Sidebotham all in agreement.
Councillors with an interest did not take part in the vote.

ii. Applications determined by Planning Authority:-
No applications determined by the Planning Authority had been received.

iii. Cllr Dorling highlighted concern had been expressed in regards the double gates at Pellambech, the Clerk to ask planning/highways if this is a legal entrance.

6 - Councillors' reports and items for future agenda:-
Cllr Dorling advised a resident had received notification from EDF of a compulsory notice to allow study of the meadows. Council briefly discussed including the recent letter from SPS to place Sizewell C under reports on next agenda. Cllr Dorling to check the war memorial with the church warden and report back at the next meeting.

7 - Date of next meeting:-
The date of the next scheduled virtual meeting was confirmed as Wednesday, 20 January 2021.

There being no further business the meeting was closed at 8.12pm
