In Memoriam – Keith/Ernie Addington of Pakenham
Ernie was a kind, gentle, modest, patient and generous man who would always do anything to help if he could. At St Mary's he served as PCC secretary for the last 6 years, having volunteered for the post when he heard we needed someone. He was determined never to let us down, attending meetings even when he was not feeling so good; his last meeting was only just over a fortnight before he died. I will miss his quiet reliable presence, his lovely sense of humour and knack of seeing the funny side of things, which so often helped me and others to retain some perspective on anything that was worrying us.
